Sun Certified has just completed our test facility to manufacture window boxes and wall sections to use in our upcoming retrofits and new builds. Most Passive House builders in other countries and in Western Canada are moving to off-site manufacturing of building components. Working in a thermally controlled manufacturing facility provides many benefits such as:

• limited weather delays
• material waste reduction
• optimized production processes
• ergonomic working platforms
• ISO certified processes

Using pre fabricated building components reduces our close-in time on new builds and reduces on site labour requirements saving time and money while limiting liability. Sun Certified continues to push to have more Passive House style new builds and EnerPhit style retrofits completed in Manitoba and this wall plant is the next logical step in our business plan.
